Agape's Mission

Agape is dedicated to providing high-quality English as a second language instruction (ESL) at an affordable cost and in a friendly, supportive atmosphere. Agape has been offering English classes in South Carolina since June 1993.

Agape's Goals

In order to accomplish its mission, AELI seeks to:

• Offer a comprehensive curriculum which equips students with the necessary English language and cultural skills to reach the students’ own academic and professional goals;
• Help students,  both in an out of the classroom, to engage in true communication that is free from the common obstacles that hinder language learning;
• Provide an environment which seeks to meet the needs of the student as a whole person. Agape believes this may be achieved through caring and qualified teachers, administrators, staff, and volunteers who respect all students and their respective cultures and uphold a strong character as they teach and relate to students;
• Actively recruit motivated students in need of our services from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.
